    John Ivan is a General Practitioner and Trial Lawyer who provides both Criminal and Civil Representation for clients from every walk of life.  This breed and type of Attorney Services is hard to find in this day and age.  Without exception, John Ivan’s charges for services are always intended to be fair and reasonable.  John Ivan commenced his practice in partnership with Lawrence Zuckel, a retired District Judge in February, 1966.  John Ivan’s friends and clients are taken back by his work ethic, focus, and commitment and ability to practice in both Kansas and Missouri in multiple Jurisdictions.  Except for his limited private practice during his Government work as the youngest State Director of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Special Assistant to the Governor on State and Community Affairs, Governor Robert Docking Executive Assistant, and Assistant Director of Highways in Kansas, he has practiced fulltime with the support of younger lawyers in his office who he mentored.

    While John Ivan has always been politically interested, his relationship with persons of all political persuasions have been respectful and amicable, even to the point he was invited by State Senators and Representatives of the opposite party to a Luncheon to be honored and talk about the Good old Time’s when people with different political views were united for good Government.

    John Ivan is authorized to practice in both Kansas and Missouri, the Federal Courts in both Kansas and Missouri, and before the United States Supreme Court.

    At any given time, John Ivan will have cases pending for Criminal Defenses, Probate, Divorce and Family Law, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death, Business Cases, Minor Traffic and DUI’s, and State Regulatory and ABC Licensing, Appeals involving Courts from the Municipal to Federal level in multiple venues.
